Finding Dory Party Ideas with Water Play Fun
To those that are still under a pile of snow, this is me meekly waving hi from Florida. It’s 73 degrees outside without a cloud in the sky. And we’re celebrating the newest Disney Pixar film, Finding Dory coming this June 2016.
Has it been 3 years since my Finding Nemo Party? I feel like that was a lifetime ago, when I was just a baby blogger. With Finding Nemo as my favorite Disney movie of all time, I may or may not have been counting down the days until the Finding Dory release (it’s 109 days, just in case you were wondering).
And with the latest Pixar sequel on the way, I have been dying to host a Finding Dory party. So gather a little Florida sun, some water and fishy inspiration, and we have our DIY Finding Dory party on the blog today. Ready to “Just Keep Swimming” with us? I thought you’d never ask.
Finding Dory Dipped Marshmallows
I’m a sucker for a cute themed marshmallow at a party. Moth to a flame, I have to eat one (or 5, whatever). So these easy Finding Dory Dipped Marshmallows were a perfect themed sweet treat for our party. Yellow and blue candy melts, a few Finding Nemo gummies, and white pearl sprinkles for bubbles….adorable. The kids LOVED them!
Finding Dory Dessert Parfaits

Finding Dory Parfaits
Ingredients
- Fresh Blueberries
- Lemon Yogurt
- Cool Whip
- Dory Marshmallows - from the new Finding Dory Cereal
Instructions
- In a small jar, alternate layers of fresh blueberries and lemon yogurt.
- Top with a dollop of Cool Whip.
- Decorate with a few Dory marshmallows from your cereal box
- Serve cold
Finding Dory Party Punch
Those that know me, you know that I love a good party drink. So keeping things light and refreshing for a day of water play, I grabbed a blue colored sports drink and cut fresh starfruit for a floating “starfish” themed ocean drink. Hydration for the kids on a hot Florida day is handled!
Fish-Approved Finding Dory Kid Snacks
It’s raining fish everywhere! With lots of ocean inspiration for this party, of course I turn to everything fish themed for snacks! A beach bucket full of colorful goldfish make a great grab-and-go snack for little ones. Finding Nemo gummy snacks and Swedish fish also adorned our party table. Celery stalks make a great “seaweed” inspired snack. And the kids got a kick out of the “ocean blue” tortilla chips.
Finding Dory Party Décor Ideas
It’s the little things that pull a Finding Dory themed party together. Taking a Dory plush we already had in the house, decorating a chalkboard sign, bubbles, and a few matching plates/snack holders gave everything a loving touch without the heavy cost.
